Ghost in the Shell: Arise - Only 5 days left!
Our deadline with Tugg is fast approaching! If we don't sell enough tickets by this Wednesday, March 4th, this event will be canceled. There's no charge until the showing is confirmed, so if you've been thinking about going, reserve your tickets today! Tell your friends! Let's meet our ticket threshold so all of us can enjoy some new anime to tide us over between now and the convention.
Ghost in the Shell: Arise is a prequel to the famous series, with all-new cases to be solved by our favorite characters as they meet and start their careers in Section 9. In partnership with Tugg.com, Anime Twin Cities is proud to present this film in Twin Cities theaters for the first time.
Tickets will NOT be available at the door! They can only be reserved online in advance of the event. This is a one-night, single special showing. Don't miss out -- show your support for anime in theaters and reserve your tickets now!

Help Support the Autism Society of Minnesota with ATC
Anime Twin Cities will be sending a team to walk at Steps of Hope this Sunday, March 1st at Southdale Center in Edina from 8am to 11am. The walk benefits the Autism Society of Minnesota (AUSM), an organization that offers support and services to individuals with autism, as well as their families. They are an open, dedicated, and above all helpful organization.
Anime Twin Cities is pleased to be involved in helping raise money for AUSM because many people in the greater fandom community are on the autism spectrum. Many more might be, but have gone undiagnosed their whole lives. AUSM is in our community to support not only the diagnosed people on the spectrum, but also those of us who might be, but have never been diagnosed.
If you feel moved to support this worthy cause, please go here to donate. Also, remember to put Anime Twin Cities in the field for team name.
Here are some links if you would like to know more about AUSM’s mission or services.
If you would like to walk with Anime Twin Cities, please email us and we will let you know how you can join our team.
Studio Ghibli's latest masterpiece, The Tale of the Princess Kaguya, is now available on Blu-ray and DVD!
Based on the Japanese folktale "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter", the film tells the story of a tiny girl found inside a shining stalk of bamboo by an old bamboo cutter and his wife. The infant grows rapidly into an exquisite young lady, seemingly destined for nobility. The mysterious young princess enthralls all who encounter her, but ultimately she must confront her fate.

ATC & This is Geek Partner for Gaming Event
Anime Twin Cities is proud to announce its partnership with This is Geek by being a sponsor of Digital Destruction at the Ramada Mall of America, May 8th and 9th, 2015.
Digital Destruction will feature LAN, console and tabletop gaming, as well as gaming tournaments and arcade machines. You can also talk to representatives from the gaming industry about how they got started in the field. There is a small fee for entering the tournaments; however, this fee is discounted if you have an Anime Detour 2015 badge. General admission is FREE!
This is Geek is getting help from Anime Twin Cities to make Digital Destruction a (mostly) free event. If you also want to help them reach their goal, they are running a GoFundMe with rewards such as stickers, shirts, and buttons, in addition to their eternal gratitude. To help their campaign, go to the URL below.
