PacSet
In years past we worked with PacSet Tours. Evan Miller (CEO of PacSet) reached out to us, with the worst of covid being behind us tours are ramping up and we would like to continue our relationship with PacSet.
It would be a great opportunity but since it involves the charity auction and the Anime Detour brand it may be better to be held at the Anime Detour level and we will defer to Troy. We are trying to bring back some charitable actions. Evan mentioned as an alternative being open to ideas on how they could donate a seat on the trip to ATC for some kind of charitable benefit.
This is more at the Anime Detour level; ATC would be putting a dollar amount on a charitable giving. Refer down to Troy and can revisit it later.
Coordinator Updates
Anime Detour
They are working on the early parts of budgeting, with the fiscal cycle at the end of September. They were at Kitsune Kon a few weeks ago and will be at the Pizza Luce block party on Saturday, the staff meeting is on Sunday. On the weekend of the 25th they will be helping with the library event and 2D Con. They have been working for 3 to 4 weeks with a newly assigned Hyatt rep. They are in the process of finalizing some departmental moves for either space or elevator reasons. Once those are in place, they are trying to figure out what to do with the other spaces. They will be moving manga out of the skyway area and into mirage, the skyway will be temporarily vacant. They are in contact with the Millenium and looking at their availability with their spaces and how we can transition to multi campus and are trying to determine what would work well in both campuses.
